About Michelle & Time4Change
I’m Michelle Asmussen—a wife, mother, woman in long-term recovery, and behavioral health consultant whose understanding of transformation is grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience.
My experiences with substance use and the justice system taught me how difficult it can be to navigate services while rebuilding stability, trust, and hope. I transformed those experiences into a career focused on behavioral health, recovery, reentry, peer leadership, workforce development, and systems change.
I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Human Services and am pursuing a Doctor of Human Services. My credentials are listed below in the ethical statement.
Through Time4Change, I help organizations develop stronger programs, improve operational infrastructure, support compliance readiness, integrate peer services, strengthen their workforce, and expand community engagement. I also provide professional training, supervision, and recovery-oriented support.
Time4Change reflects my belief that lasting change occurs when lived experience, professional knowledge, and practical systems work together.
