Adult Mental Health First Aid-Blended (Virtual)

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an evidence-based, skills-based training that teaches individuals how to recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges.

Participants will learn how to provide initial support and connect individuals to appropriate care using a structured action plan.

What You’ll Learn

• How to identify signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges
• How to respond in both crisis and non-crisis situations
• How to apply the MHFA Action Plan (ALGEE)

Course Format

This course is offered in a hybrid (blended) format, which includes:

• Approximately 2 hours of self-paced online pre-work
• Instructor-led training session

Participants must complete all components to receive certification.
